Rachel Lorkin

I am a contemporary modern artist working primarily with acrylic paint on canvas and plexiglass. I also love ink on paper and use mixed media in my art pieces. My artist's journey has followed me from Australia, the UK, and now California, USA. 

My artistic philosophy revolves around the simplicity of color and its profound ability to evoke happy emotions. I love circles as a symbol of the cyclical nature of life that  provide an explosion of colorful pieces. 

I love art to be touchable and layering acrylic into a three-dimensional quality, achieved through a meticulous layering technique that adds depth and richness to my work.
